Prism Prison

I met choreographer Annie Erkkinen in Irini Res’s ballet class at Crunch gym. (Yes, Crunch offers a real ballet class, and it’s AMAZING.) She invited me to collaborate with her on a project she was doing in November 2024 called The Feast at the Producer’s Club in midtown Manhattan. I performed the oranges section from I PIng the Body Electric, but I also helped Annie create a new piece called Prison Prism. We subsequently performed it on a Valentine’s Day dance concert at the gay club 3 Dollar Bill in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I played the color green. It was fun.
